After 7 years of working on antibiotic production in soil bacteria Streptomyces with Prof. Mervyn Bibb FRS and over the 20 years working on calcium signalling in legumes and cereal with Prof. Giles Oldroyd FRS in John Innes Centre and University of Cambridge, I have been involved in many research projects. Currently, my research focused on the calcium oscillation in cereal to understand the symbiotic signaling mechanisms. This is an important ENSA program for engineering cereal crops that can get nitrogen from bacteria.
