I joined the team of Prof. Thomas Ott for my Bachelor thesis (2020), focusing on the implementation of an infection-inducible system to manipulate cell cycle progression in planta. I then obtained my Masters degree in Biology with a specialization in Plant Science (2023) at Lund University (Sweden). During my Masters thesis, I was part of the group of Olivier Van Aken, working on engineering insect pheromone synthesis in plants as a pest control strategy. In 2023, I returned to Thomas Ott's team to start my PhD. In the frame of the ENSA project, I am now working on cell wall modifications during intra- and intercellular rhizobial infection in legumes.
