Thomas is a post-doc who has worked extensively on beneficial plant microbe interactions. For ENSA, he works on the mycorrhizal function of D14L and the KIA2-ligand. Previously, he has worked on engineering the root nodule symbiosis into the bioenergy crop Populus (University of Wisconsin-Madison), and a forward genetic screen for mycorrhizal mutants in Medicago (University of York).
